1
Day 1.Kibale Forest National Park
Leave early for Kibale Forest National Park driving through the green country side, past forest reserves and tea plantations. Kibale Forest is the most magnificent of Uganda’s tropical rain forests and one of the most rewarding areas to explore. The park boast of 372 bird species of which 60 percent are recorded Uganda’s Forest Birds. Arrive in time for Lunch.
Afternoon birding, Kibale forest birds include; Grey winged robin, Blue shouldered robin chat, Yellow spotted barbet, Black billed turaco, White-napped pigeon, Green-breasted pitta, Red chested fluff tail, African pitta, Joyful green bul, Cabanis Green bull, Grey throated fly catcher, Masked a pail, Nathan’s franclolin, Tinny sunbird, White collard olive back among other. The forest is also home to 13 primate species.
Retire at your accommodation unit for Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2. Kibale Forest Birding And Chimp Trek
After breakfast, go for yet another birding adventure, birds to look out for are the White tailed anti-thrushes, purple-headed, glossy-starling, Brown illadopsis, Masked Apalis, Green breasted pitta, white Napped pigeon, Toro olive-green bull, Bleck billed turaco, Buff-spotted woodpecker, and Green combec.
Afternoon embark on a Chimpanzee trek in the Forest. Do not forget to carry your binoculars as the chimps tend to foliage in the tree canopies. The chimp trek may yield sightings of other primates like the Colobus monkeys, Baboons, Red tailed and Velvet monkeys among others. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3. Semliki National Park
Drive to Semliki National Park for the whole day birding in the forest. Semliki is known for sought after rarities and these include; Congo serpent eagle, Black throated coucal, Grey throated rail, Long tailed hawk, Spot breasted ibis, Capuhin babber, Yellow throated nicater, Northern beareded scrub robin, Red chested owlet, Western bronze- napped pigeon, Black collared lovebird, White beilled kingfisher, red rumped tinker bird, Lyre tailed-tailed honey guide, White throated blue swallow, Zenker honey guide , Bate’s nighters, yellow- throated cuckoo, Orange tufted sunbird, Black winged oriole, Red billed helmet shrike, Lemon Beilled crombic. Rufous-sided broadbill, Icterine greenbull , Swamp Palm bulbul, Crested Malimbe, Ferry-breasted bush shrinke, Pale fronted negrofinch and piping, Red billed, Black dwarf, White crested, Black-casqued wattled and white-thighed hornbill.

Day 4. Semliki National Park
Whole day birding in the forest. Kirumira trails have become the most popular trail for it’s richness in diversity of bird species. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 5. Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive southwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the second largest park in Uganda. One-day record of QENP is 296 species out of 610 recorded in the park. An excellent variety of birds can be seen and those include; Pelicans, skimmers, Kingfishers, Thick-knees, Storks, Martins, Swallows, Weavers, Canaries, kites, and many grassland specialties. Evening birding is usually very productive. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Savanna And Water Birds
Early morning game drive in the open savannah, an ideal opportunity to spot the savannah birds. Return for lunch at your accommodation unit. The afternoon launch cruise on Kazinga channel, connecting Lake George and Edward, is among the best known in the region for it’s diversity of bird species include; African skimmers, Green backed Heron, African spoonbill, African crake, Water thick-knee, three baned plover, marsh, green, Wood and common sandpiper, grey headed gull, plain Martin lesser swamp-warbler and Yellow -billed Oxpecker. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Drive back to Kampala
After breakfast, check out of your rooms and head back to Kampala arriving in the evening. End of Safari.
